Video Contest "My moment in Valamar 2008"

We believe that during your stay in one of our many facilities located in Poreč, Rapac, Krk and Dubrovnik you captured an unforgettable moment on your camera or mobile phone. If you decide to share that moment with us, send us your video and win a free vacation.

Prizes
• We will award a Valamar T-shirt to each participant whose video we publish
• The three best videos chosen by an expert jury will win a four-day, a three-day and a two-day stay, respectively, in one
of our facilities of their choice.

RULES AND CONDITIONS FOR PARTICIPATION IN THE PRIZE-WINNING COMPETITION

VALAMAR HOTELS AND RESORTS d.o.o. is organizing a competition for the best video material filmed in one of the facilities (hotels, apartments, camps) that it manages.
The competition will last from 15 September 2008 to 1 June 2009. The deadline for submitting video material is 31 May 2009 at midnight. All video material arriving after the deadline will not be included in the competition.
Selection of the best material will be made by a three-member committee comprised of Valamar employees.
All adult physical persons who filmed video material during their stay at one of the facilities (hotels, apartments, camps) managed by Valamar Hotels and Resorts, LLC (hereafter: the Organizer) may participate in the competition.
Entrants whose video materials are oustide the theme of the contest or have inappropriate content may not participate in the competition. Each participant may send an unlimited quantity of video material for a given theme.
By submitting video material, participants grant the Organizer the right to reproduce its particular content in print, in presentations, or other similiar activities; the right to use individual segments of the content; and the right to distribute the content (the right to publication) that will result from the acceptance of these general conditions.
The video material must be original and under the exclusive ownership of the person submitting it. The person submitting the material guarantees that he/she is the author of the video material. In the event of any dispute on authorship, the Organizer of the competition will not bear any responsibility. In addition to the video material itself, participants must also submit their personal data (first and last name, mailing address and e-mail address) and the title of the video material, the date it was filmed and the location. Materials submitted without this information will not be included in the competition.
The Organizer may use the submitted materials for promotional activities and marketing and advertising without additional approval of the author and without the payment of compensation.
Video recordings are to be sent in electronic form to the Internet page of Valamar TV www.valamartv.com.
The prize fund is comprised of the following:

First three prizes
- First prize: A four-day stay for two persons, half pension, in one of the facilities of the Organizer, regardless of where the guest was accommodated earlier, in the 2009 season, as desired by the winner and within the possibilities of the Organizer.
- Second prize: A three-day stay for two persons, half pension, in one of the facilities of the Organizer, regardless of where the guest was accommodated earlier, in the 2009 season, as desired by the winner and within the possibilities of the Organizer.
- Third prize: A two-day stay for two persons, half pension, in one of the facilities of the Organizer, regardless of where the guest was accommodated earlier, in the 2009 season, as desired by the winner and within the possibilities of the Organizer.
- Each participant whose video material meets the conditions and is entered into the award competition will receive a Valamar T-shirt.
The names of the participants whose material is selected as the best (first three places) by the jury will be announced on 10 June 2009 on the web pages of Valamar TV www.valamartv.com. All winners will be notified in writing about their prize.
Winners of the prizes (visit) must agree by contacting the Valamar Reservation Center (see below) within 60 days after the announcement of the results.

The Organizer reserves the right to halt the competition through force majeure, or another event over which the Organizer is not responsible, and which could not have been foreseen.
